PULLUP · LEGAL

Host Agreement

The terms for anyone who lists events and sells tickets on PullUp.

Draft v0.1 · 7 October 2026

Placeholder draft for the PullUp proof of concept. Not legal advice and not yet reviewed by a lawyer. It must be reviewed and replaced before launch.

Your role

You organise the event and are responsible for it: the venue, safety, staffing, licences, the line-up and everything you promise in your listing. PullUp provides listing, ticketing, payments, check-in tools and payouts.

Verification and payouts

Before your first payout you complete KYC (PAN and bank account, verified by penny drop). Ticket money is held by our payment partner and released to your account 2 days after the event ends, less PullUp’s platform fee (2.5% of the ticket amount), refunds and any chargebacks.

Alcohol, licences and ID checks

  • If your event serves alcohol, you confirm on every publish that the venue holds every licence required to serve it.
  • You must check government photo ID at the door against the ticket name and age shown on the scanner, and serve alcohol only to guests of legal drinking age.
  • You must not admit anyone below the event’s minimum entry age.

No off-platform payments

All sales for a PullUp-listed event go through PullUp. Asking guests to pay by UPI, cash, links or phone numbers outside the app is not allowed. Listings with payment details are held for review, and repeat attempts lead to strikes and suspension.

Listings and edits

Listings must be accurate. After the first ticket sells, the listing is locked so guests get exactly what they paid for. If something genuinely has to change, contact us; otherwise cancel and refund.

Cancellations and refunds

If you cancel, every guest is refunded automatically from your balance. You must honour the refund policy you chose. Frequent cancellations, misleading listings or unsafe events lead to strikes, and repeated strikes lead to suspension.

Door and offline mode

Use only the PullUp scanner for entry. When you take a door device offline as the Master, it becomes the only device that can admit guests until you hand back control. The guest list on it is encrypted and wiped automatically after the event.

Plans and promotions

Subscriptions and boosts (Spotlight, Takeover, Push Blast) are prepaid and non-refundable once a promotion has started. Promoted placements are always labelled "Promoted".
