Delete Your Account

How to delete your PullUp account and personal data, in the app or by email, and what we delete and keep.

Version 1.1 · Effective 8 October 2026

1. Delete in the app

This is the quickest way, and it takes effect immediately:

  • Open the PullUp app and sign in.
  • Go to the Profile tab.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Read what will happen, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account.

Your account is deleted straight away, and you are signed out.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in, email operations@pullupnow.in with the subject “Delete my account”:

  • Send it from the email address on your PullUp account, or include the mobile number registered on your account.
  • We will confirm that the request is yours by sending a one-time code or confirmation link to your registered phone number or email. This protects you from someone deleting your account without permission.
  • Once confirmed, we delete your account within 7 days and email you when it is done.

This page is the account deletion link we provide to Google Play and the Apple App Store.

3. Before you delete

  • Upcoming tickets: you can’t delete your account while you hold valid tickets for an upcoming event, because the guest list and door staff rely on them. Request a refund (if the event’s policy allows) or wait until the event has ended, then delete.
  • Host profiles: if you are the owner of a host profile, transfer ownership to another team member or ask us to close the host profile first. Payouts owed to the host continue to be processed to the verified bank account.
  • Active Host plans: prepaid plan time and promotions that have not been used are not refunded when you delete your account (see the Host Plans & Promotions Terms).
  • Deletion is permanent. You can sign up again later with the same phone number or email, but you will start a new, empty account.

4. What we delete

Immediately

  • Your name, username, profile photo, bio, phone number, email address and date of birth.
  • Your interests, genres, privacy settings and notification preferences.
  • Your friends and friend requests, the Hosts you follow and the people you have blocked.
  • Pending requests to join events, and your memberships of host teams.
  • Your push notification tokens.
  • Your identity verification is revoked.

5. What we keep, and for how long

  • Booking, payment, refund and invoice records, including the names on tickets: up to 8 years after the relevant financial year, as required by tax, GST and accounting laws. They are no longer linked to an identifiable profile.
  • The identity verification record for bookings that required it: alongside the booking record, only to show that the booking met the legal age requirement.
  • Check-in logs: alongside the booking record, for fraud prevention and to resolve disputes.
  • Reviews you posted: they stay visible, but are no longer linked to your name or profile.
  • Reports and moderation records about serious breaches, and any data subject to a legal hold or a request from an authority: as long as the law requires.
  • Limited registration information for up to 180 days after deletion, where required by Rule 3(1)(h) of the IT Rules, 2021.
  • Offline guest lists on Host door devices are always wiped 12 hours after each event, whether or not you delete your account.

Full details are in our Privacy Policy (pullupnow.in/legal/privacy).

6. Deleting some data without deleting your account

  • Remove your profile photo or bio, or change your name, from Edit profile.
  • Turn off Squad visibility and “Find me by phone number” in Profile → Privacy.
  • Remove friends and unfollow Hosts from the app. To delete a review you posted, email us.
  • Revoke location, contacts, camera, photos, calendar or notification access in your phone’s settings at any time.
  • For anything else, email operations@pullupnow.in with the subject “Data request”.

7. Contact and grievances

Questions, requests or complaints about this document or anything else on PullUp: email operations@pullupnow.in. If you’re writing about an error, include the reference code shown in the app so we can find your case quickly.
