Intellectual Property & Takedown Policy
How to report content on PullUp that infringes your copyright or trademark, and how we respond.
Version 1.1 · Effective 8 October 2026
1. Our approach
We respect intellectual property rights and expect everyone on PullUp to do the same. Hosts must only use event artwork, photos, logos, artist names and music that they own or have permission to use. We remove infringing content when we become aware of it, in accordance with the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT Rules, 2021.
2. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on PullUp infringes your copyright or trademark, email operations@pullupnow.in with the subject “IP complaint” and include:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email address, and if you are acting for someone else, your authority to do so.
- A description of the work or trademark you say is infringed, with evidence of your ownership (for example, a registration certificate or proof of authorship).
- The exact location of the content on PullUp (a link to the event, Host profile or review, or a screenshot showing where it appears).
- An explanation of why the content infringes your rights.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner, or are authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
3. What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
- If the complaint is complete and the content appears to infringe, we remove or disable access to it, normally within 36 hours, and notify the person who posted it.
- Where the Copyright Act, 1957 applies, we keep the content disabled for 21 days pending a court order, as required by section 52(1)(c) of that Act and the Copyright Rules, 2013.
- We may ask you for more information if your complaint is incomplete.
4. Counter-notice
If your content was removed
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or that you have the right to use it, email operations@pullupnow.in with the subject “IP counter-notice”, identify the content removed, explain why you have the right to use it, include your contact details, and confirm that the information is accurate. We will share your counter-notice with the complainant and may restore the content unless they take legal action.
5. Repeat infringers
We suspend or terminate the accounts of users and Hosts who repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
6. False claims
Do not submit false or misleading complaints. Knowingly misrepresenting that content is infringing may make you liable for damages.
7. PullUp’s own intellectual property
The PullUp name, logo, app design and software are owned by PullUp. Please don’t use them without our written permission. To report misuse of our brand, such as fake PullUp accounts, websites or ticket sellers, email us.
8. Contact and grievances
